The Beliefs You Don't Know You're Operating From
Most practitioners wouldn't say they believe these myths out loud. Ask directly, and the answer is almost always "no, of course not." But look at the protocols being built, the intake questions being asked, the way progress is measured with clients — and a different story often emerges. These myths aren't conscious beliefs. They're the invisible scaffolding underneath a lot of standard functional and holistic training.
Why This List Exists
We didn't arrive at this list from theory. We arrived at it from running the labs, following the protocols, and spending — honestly — hundreds of thousands of dollars between clinical training and our own healing journeys, while still hitting walls with our health and our clients' results. It wasn't until we started questioning the assumptions everyone around us treated as settled fact that things actually started to shift — for us, and for the practitioners we now train.
What You'll Find Inside
This isn't a list of surface-level tips. It's 10 specific, commonly taught beliefs — about root causes, testing, supplements, detox, trauma, motivation, and more — paired with what's actually true instead, based on real clinical experience. Some of these will challenge training you've trusted for years. That's kind of the point.
Who This Is For
If you're a practitioner who feels like something deeper is missing — even while doing everything "right" by conventional or functional standards — this is for you. And if you're on your own healing journey and have felt stuck despite doing all the right things, most of this will resonate too. Root-cause healing was never about collecting more protocols. It's about better thinking.
